Receive and file city auditor’s office report CA-10-23 providing a summary of the Management Action Plans in progress as identified in Confidential Appendix A.

Receive and file office of the city auditor’s report CA-11-23 providing a quarterly dashboard of City Auditor Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) attached as Appendix A.

Receive and file finance department report F-38-23 providing financial highlights as at September 30, 2023

Receive and file corporate strategy report CS-18-23 regarding the City of Burlington’s updated risk maturity score.

Approve the external audit plan for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023, as presented by Deloitte LLP at the Audit Committee meeting of December 6, 2023.

Direct the Audit Committee Chair and the Executive Director, Strategy, Risk & Accountability to deliver the Audit Committee’s final performance rating and feedback from Audit Committee discussions to the City Auditor and submit the necessary information to human resources for inclusion in the merit program as applicable.

Receive and file city auditor’s office report CA-12-23 regarding the environmental stewardship strategies audit attached as Appendix A.

Receive and file city auditor’s office report CA-14-23 regarding the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project audit – phase 2.

Approve the 2024 audit plan for the office of the city auditor attached in Appendix A of city auditor office report CA-15-23.

Receive and file legal department report L-58-23 regarding an update on the fraudulent vendor payment and recovery matter.

Proceed into closed session on Dec. 6, 2023 at 3:57 p.m. in accordance with the following provisions under the Municipal Act: Pursuant to section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act, personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees regarding item 5.2.

Receive and file the following item, having been given due consideration by the Audit Committee.
